So about this time 231 is out for some people and will be coming out for all people very soon. I can't wait to see how this issue turned out as the last time I saw it was when I turned the pencils in months ago.
Some really cool stuff happens in this issue, I want to see it in its full color glory!

Its such a blast to get to draw Mecha Sally and I was honored to modernize her design. I think this development in the story has opened some very exciting doors and I'm looking forward to any cool stuff Mecha Sally will be doing in the future.

When I saw that as a 9 year old, it blew my mind and I could not wait to read it.

I'm getting those feelings all over again! Kick ass cover!

Wow, hey JJ its been a billion years since you wrote me but I wanted to say I really appreciate this comment. Its great to know my work is sparking something powerfully felt in your youth! That's a major goal of mine, to tap into that place of excitement where maybe things can really be as cool as you think they're gonna be. In the case of issue 29, one of the issues I also picked up as a kid, if you were like me the interior art was an intense let down from the cover. All of its promises shattered.
Years later, for issue 231 here, I did the cover as well as the inside! So hopefully for any nine year olds excited about this cover, I upheld the promise.
