I'm so grateful to everyone who came out for Free Comic Book Day, I met tons and tons of cool people and did a drawing for just about every single person that came by my table.  I got to knock out some pretty cool stuff this year with Sonic and Mega Man, but I also got to draw more Pokemon!
Last year I can't remember everything I drew, but I know I got to do up a Knuckles vs Darkrai which was a blast. This year the theme got a little more complicated with drawing Pokemon as if they were Mega Man robots. That's right, take that challenge.

And even though I drew a ton of cool stuff, my favorite of the day was Zero from Mega Man X. For whatever reason, that drawing is when everything clicked. I don't recall the name of the young woman who requested him but it was awesome that she didn't know who he was yet and had purchased an arm band with his emblem on it.
It was fun to give her his name, a quick idea on the character, and the idea behind the Mega Man X series in general. It was fun to see a fan of Zero being formed right in front of me.

I wish I had been prepared enough to get photos of the sketches I did today... but I didn't.
